Iranians take to streets to protest Saudi Arabia-Bahrain merger bid
Iranians have taken to the streets to protest against Saudi Arabia’s bid for a merger with Bahrain as well as the Manama regime’s brutal crackdown on anti-government protests.The protesters in Tehran staged a rally following the Friday Prayers. They described the plan as treason against Bahraini people. Saudi Arabia is seeking to merge with Bahrain in line with plans to unify the six Arab member states of the [Persian] Gulf Cooperation Council ([P]GCC). Leader Confident about Continuation of Islamic Revolution's Movement
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei expressed the confidence that Iranian youths will continue the movement started by the Islamic Revolution.Addressing a group of the veterans of the eight-year Iraqi imposed war on Iran here in Tehran on Friday, Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that the path of the Islamic revolution will be continued by young people who will take the flag up if any of combatants falls down. Describing the sacred defense events as a subtle and beautiful portrait, Ayatollah Khamenei said thousands of books with highest artistic standards were needed to record and portray the details of sacrifices of Iran's combatants. Clashes between Security Forces, Demonstrators Continue in Bahrain
Thousands of Bahrainis demonstrated on Friday across the tiny Persian Gulf island as the Saudi-backed al-Khalifa regime continues suppressing the protesting people.Demonstrators had taken to the streets to call for the downfall of the regime and the release of prisoners. Security forces reportedly attacked the pro-democracy protesters with sound grenades and teargas canisters. Reports said that several protesters have been injured in the violence. Once again demonstrators called for the release of prominent human rights activist Abdul Hadi al-Khawaja, who has been on a hunger strike for three months. The activist was arrested last April for protesting against the regime in Manama. Anti-government protesters have been holding peaceful demonstrations across Bahrain since mid-February 2011, calling for an end to the Al Khalifa dynasty's over-40-year rule.Violence …

Saudi Arabians hold anti-regime rally in Eastern Province
In Saudi Arabia, demonstrators have once again taken to the streets of the oil-rich Eastern Province in protest against the Al Saud regime, Press TV reports.Activists and demonstrators gathered in several towns and villages including Qatif and Awamiya. The protesters called for the prosecution of security forces who opened fire on peaceful demonstrators back in November. They also expressed solidarity with Bahraini protesters and the tiny Persian Gulf country’s revolution. Saudi military forces surrounded protesters in several towns and locations. Activists say they will continue their protests despite threats from the government.
